| La Rueda Tienda Hispana y Flea Market | This is the name of a Hispanic shop I start just a month ago in Wilsonâs Mills, NC with my wife. Many people ask about the name, âŠwell âla ruedaâ means âthe wheelâ in Spanish and I choose this name because I think the wheel was a great discovery for humanity and this is my first business, so I feel like if I am discovering âthe wheelâ something that although is not new at all, itâs new for me. âtienda hispanaâ means Hispanic shop in Spanish, âŠand that is what we are trying to do, and âflea marketâ because we can say we inherit this from the previous owner that use to operate a flea market in the weekends there. We are following this âtraditionâ and by now are giving free space for people who want to come and sell something they are not using.
This place use to be a Thrift shop and a flea market, we came with the idea of making a Hispanic shop and buy all the existing inventory from the previous owner. Initially we though to sell quick all the use stuff we buy âŠbut soon we realize this business was more profitable than the Hispanic groceries so we keep it too. So now we sell used stuff that we buy like computers, tools, toys, appliances, ..etc, used stuff that people bring us and left in consignment, Hispanic groceries, like beans, tortillas, juices, Hispanic drinks and so on, prepaid phone cards to call Mexico centroamerica and âŠthe rest of the world, also offer money transfer services through Viamerica and Sigue, and in the weekends we ârentâ space outside and sell our own stuff like a flea market. | | Posted: 8/13/2008 at 17:16 | Read 160 times | 0 comments | Leave Comment |
 | The wheel | The wheel have a symbolic meaning similar to
the circle but with the additional quality of movement. As a symbol of the sun,
the wheelâs spokes parallel the rays of the sun,
is the absolute cosmic power; it is the universal father, it is the center of
being and intuition, it is knowledge and warmth, glory and splendor. In the Taoist tradition, the wheel is the
Sage who has reached the point of motionless center, around which movement may
occur without himself being moved.
The
wheel also represents the notions of totality, wholeness, original perfection,
the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement, God ('God
is a circle whose centre is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere'
(Hermes Trismegistus)). It is masculine power; as the soul and as encircling
waters, it is the feminine maternal principle. "It implies an idea of
movement, and symbolizes the cycle of time, the perpetual motion of everything
that moves, the planets' journey around the sun (the circle of the zodiac), the Wheel of Fortune in a deck of tarot
cards, the great rhythm of the universe.
The circle is also zero in our system of
numbering, and symbolizes potential, or the embryo. In the number ten,
symbolizes heaven and perfection as well as eternity. It has a magical value as
a protective agent, and indicates the end of the process of individuation, of
striving towards a psychic wholeness and self-realization"

 | Earn easy money just for giving your opinion | Did
you know you can earn easy money just for giving your opinion? Sit
Back, Relax, and Get Paid for What You Think. Taking paid surveys is an
extremely convenient and easy way to earn cash online. What are online
paid surveys?
Let
me start at the most important part. Money! How much can you make with
online paid surveys? Will you believe me if I tell you that you can
make anything between $1 and $150 per survey?
They
say that the difference between real and fiction is that fiction needs
to make sense! This is really applicable to making money with online
surveys. It does not really make sense, but it is true! But do not take
my word for it. You just click some of the links at the right and try
just getting the feel of it and see how easy is to fill in a survey.
The online surveys
are just simple questionnaires which require certain information or
opinions from you. These feedback are analyzed by the companies who
send you the surveys and the information thus obtained go to form the
future product strategy of that company, be it marketing, production,
content, correction, etc.
The
next logical question you would ask is why the companies would pay
people to do surveys. Companies need access to information regarding
the reaction of the public on the products they promote. In order to
get this information they do extensive market research studies which
are expensive and sometimes not reliable â when the data can be
manufactured. Paid online surveys give these companies direct access to
the public. The payment is calculated based on the importance of the
product and the difficulty the company has to gain serious insights on
it. Hence, online surveys are a healthy business proposition for the
companies.

 | Today I realize I have been scam | I feel shame, because I feel stupid for not revising my bank statements better, but I want to share this with you, because it maybe helps someone in similar situation. easysaver.com, american-leisure.com, they charged my credit card, during a few month without my authorization. I call to my bank and they promised to refund the charges of the last month. I speak to them at 877 5648538, and they promised they are going to give my money back.
The other two charges from AP9 Todaysescapes and VistaPrintrewards. They charged me during a few months without my authorization, their website is dealpass.com. They agreed to refund one month of the âservice" (I never used it, since I had no clue I was âenrolled") but refused to refund the rest.
A reputable company should refund all the charges, if you were not aware of their existence and never used their service. A reputable company-service should not rely on a deceitful practice.
In my view, Todaysescapes, Vistaprintrewards, Easysaver and American-leisure are not reputable companies.

So if you see anything like this in your bank statements, call your bank immediately and tell them to cancel this charges. Check the site http://www.ripoffreport.com/ and you would find numerous reports about this âcompaniesâ

 | Celebration of the Diwali Indian festival in North Carolina, USA | Diwali literally means âgarland or row of lamps,â and signifies the triumph of good
over evil, and light over darkness. It is a
very popular and important festival, celebrated all over India. Diwali is celebrated in the month of
Asweeja or Aswayuja [October/ November], according to the Lunar calendar. In India the Jains celebrated Diwali as the day their last Teerthankara
[prophet] attained Nirvana. The Sikhs have used
Diwali as a day of celebrating an ancient seasonal festival for the purposes of
teaching spiritual lessons to the Sikh faithful. Diwali/Deepavali is a
national festival, and the festival is marked by the exchange of sweets, the
giving of gifts, and the lighting of firecrackers. Many of the ordinary Muslims
and Christians join their Hindu friends and neighbors in celebrating the
festival.â In United States the House of Representatives passed the Resolution 747 on October 29, recognizing the festival of
Diwali in the United States.â This is the celebration of the Diwali Festival in Cary, NC, USA

 | The Sikh Contribution to Democratic India | | During India's struggle for independence, Sikhs fought against the British at great personal cost. In the successful fight for independence, 3,697 Sikhs were hanged, killed or imprisoned for life, versus 1,074 non-Sikhs. When India was granted independence and partitioned in 1947, massive populations of Muslims and Hindus were given their own geographic nation. The hard-working and hard-fighting Sikhs decided to join with predominantly Hindu India and put their faith in the Indian government to protect their interests.
After receiving such firm and solemn promises in clear and unambiguous terms from the Congress Party leaders, Sikhs decided to throw in their lot with India and did not press the British government for an independent Sikh state. They had wholeheartedly and vigorously supported the freedom struggle and suffered greatly for the cause. Promises of religious freedom and self-determination made to them by Mahatma Gandhi and Mr. Nehru were never fulfilled. No sooner had the country achieved independence when all past promises, declarations and assurances made to the Sikhs, and the sacrifices made by the Sikhs were forgotten. With the partition of India to form the Moslem state of Pakistan, 60% of the agriculturally developed lands of the Sikhs went to Pakistan and the Sikhs migrated to Indian Punjab to make their new homes on barren land. Through their skill and industry, this land was transformed by a "green revolution" and now provides 60% of the food supply for all of India, including 70% of all the wheat and 50% of the rice. Throughout their history, Sikhs have earned great distinction by standing in defense of the rights of other religious peoples, notably the Hindus. Historically, thousands of Sikhs gave their lives to protect the nonviolent Hindus against the abuse of the ruthless Moguls who forcibly imposed Islam upon India for several centuries. At the time of the fight for independence from Great Britain, 60% of the military was composed of Sikhs although they were only 2% of the total population. The Sikhs are a people who value human rights, who have defended India against scores of invaders throughout the centuries, and who contribute in all respects to the independent nation of India.
Here in Yuwie, I have a good sikh friend, maybe you know him, his name is Charanjit Singh Related Links
