The Power of KNOL Can Put Cash in Your Pockets

What is KNOL?

I'll show you later in this post.

Can KNOL put money in your pocket?

Maybe.

Here's the scoop.

There was a time when you could make serious money by putting up a Webpage with an article on some topic and hosting Google Ads. Google would (and still does) pay you a percentage of their ad revenue for a spot on your page.

Then things changed, as they always do here on the internet. People began to put up crappy content pages just to have a place to display Google Ads.

It worked for a while.

Google changed the rules so it became diffcult if not impossible to get those crappy content pages ranked in the search results.

Bottomline... if no one ever saw your content page, no one ever clicked on the ads, and you made no money.

But things have changed again. Google launched KNOL.

So... if you like to write about things you are passionate about, if you are any kind of expert, you can share your knowledge on KNOL.

And you can display Google Ads that pay you.

You don't need a domain name, a Website, hosting, or any of that technical stuff.. Google does it all for you. Your page is up as soon as you click the PUBLISH button.

And since all this comes to you from Google, don't you think the Google-bots will be scanning your pages a lot. You might even find your KNOLs at the top of the Google search listings?

Give it a try, share your knowledge, put some good keywords in your title and subject area and see what happens.

Drop me a note about the Knols you create too.

Here's one of the  KNOLs I did.

May I ask a favor?

14 Good Excuses?

Have you ever wondered... "Why don't you always do what you're supposed to do?"

Use this list to help you figure out what's stopping you.

  • You don't know what you are supposed to do.
  • You don't know how to do it.
  • You don't know why you should do it.
  • You think another way won't work.
  • You think your way is better.
  • You think something else is more important.
  • There is no positive consequence for you to do it.
  • You think you are doing it.
  • You think something bad will happen if you do it.
  • There are no negative consequences for not doing it.
  • There are obstacles beyond your control.
  • Your personal limits prevent you from performing.
  • You have personal problems.
  • No one can do it.

This list applies to children, customers, friends, employees, or people in general also. If you can figure out why they don't, you are well on your way to discovering a solution.

Bad News

If you are interested in Internet Marketing and are sick of the constant barrage of "must have" product launches, crappy newsletters, gurus that treat you like an ATM, and worthless ebooks...

... the you must read "
The Internet Marketing Cure".

It's a free ebook by non-guru Scott Boulch. I think you'll agree with many of Scott's takes on Internet Marketing.

Scratch This Niche Itch

It's estimated the online gaming community is 217 million strong and growing... FAST.

I've been exploring the Passively Multiplayer Online Game... aka PMOG.  It's a cross between a social network and an online game. The best part (IMHO) of it is your ability to create MISSIONS that send other gamers to the WebSites of your choosing.

But you must consider the audience here and be subtle with your marketing efforts.

Find out more about  PMOG.com

And I do have a few invites to the PMOG game still available. An invite is the quickest way to get in.  Without an invite you have to get in line to try out the beta version.

Watch Out for The Poison Pen
Did you see this article in Time

Seems that doctors kill about 7000 people every year with bad handwriting skills.

...And we all thought it was just another subject for another doctor joke!
