I am not a doctor, but I am concerned about the overuse of drugs in our society. I made a list of safe treatments you can try first before drugs.
Step 1 reduce stress Ways to reduce stress. 1. Take control of your life, by making an effort to act in a way that is based on results rather then emotions. Self destructive behaviors What do you that indicates you may be trying to harm or punish yourself? Do you isolate yourself? Do you feel taken advantage of? Do you feel responsible for solving other peoples problems? Do you focus to much on perfection? Do you get frustrated about things you cannot change?
2. Always try to state your needs before you get mad in a way that does not block communication. Listen to others and recognise their point of view. Poor Communication Passive, not communicating your needs. Aggressive, not listening to the needs of others, blocking communication with emotions or anger. Passive Aggressive, tolerating things that make you mad till you get mad.
3 Avoid addiction, many addictive substances are legal ask your doctor about anything you need to intake everyday just to feel normal.
4 Take a good look at how your diet affects you. Do some foods make you sick? Is something missing from your diet? Choosing a good diet is not about making sacrifices, it's about eating foods that make you feel good! Try eating new foods, grapes and seafood are good for your heart. To answer these question, you just have to be aware of how your body responds to food. Some foods may increase your histamine levels, causing your stomach to produce too much acid. Do you drink enough water?
Step 2 Make sure you get enough light in the mourning look at a sun bulb when you wake up so you feel like it's time to wake up and don't feel drowsy.
Step 3 Try supplementing you diet with mint or lemon balm.
Step 4 Educate yourself on available medication, decide weather or not the benefits out-way the risks. Remember that much of the available information is provided with the intent of selling a product rather then educating the public. |
