| OK the first and obvious thing to do is to invite all your friends & family. Do you have an email list? Of course you do! Everybody on the net sends out funnies in emails. Write up an email telling all your friends about Yuwie in your own words so it doesn't sound like a copy & paste advertisement. Make sure you include your link. You can find it in your control panel, on the left, under "Your Referral URL"
Copy & paste the payplan found under the "HELP" tab.
Q: How much can I make?
A: We can't say exactly, but here's an example of what could happen. The chart below assumes you refer 3 people, and those 3 people refer 3, then those refer 3, through 10 levels, and each referral gets 1000 page views for the month, and the month's RSR is $0.50.

Results are not guaranteed. This is just an example of what could happen.
Not everyone is going to signup but hey, you put it out there for them, didn't you? Don't be afraid. What's the worst thing that can happen? They won't join? It's their loss. Wait for a couple months when you've made your first check. You can send them a copy...and a BIG smile!
Attach your link or banner found in your control panel under "referrals", then, "referral tools," to your email signature under your email options. It will be attached to every email you send out. You know how people like to send "FORWARDS" of their funnies, once you add your banner signature, it will get forwarded to possibly thousands of people when you send funnies!
I must caution you, though, NOT TO SPAM!. Do not send emails to people you don't know. People don't like it and you can get in trouble for that.
I am just laying some ground work here. I hope you are not disappointed in the first post, as it is a very obvious one. But we are starting from basics and I want to start simple. Of course, most of you are already doing this, but if not, do it! It won't hurt---I promise! =)

I know that doesn't sound like much to start but it adds up quicker than you think. The key is in getting referrals. I have over 5500 page views in 10 days and almost 26,000 from my referrals. So, see how quickly it grows. Just think if we had gotten paid at that other place all this time! I once stated if that was the case, I'd own a small island somewhere. Also, as Yuwie grows and it's advertising revenue grows, so does our paychecks.

A page view is any activity that you as a user does on Yuwie. A Page view is anytime Yuwie Loads. If visit a friend that is a page view for both. If you mess around in your Control panel, those are Page views. Make a comment is a page view, Checking Messages are page views. Editing anything is a page view. A Friend reguest is a page view. Reading system mail is a Page view.
The only stipulation of what is not a pageview is if you don't let Yuwie fully load prior to going to the next page ( Because the advertisment needs 5-10 seconds at times to Load).
Offical statement of Page view:
Q: What actually counts as a paid page view?
A: When anyone views any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view for you:
1. your profile page
2. your blog pages
3. view all your friends
4. view all your comments
5. your picture pages
6. your video pages
7. if someone views one of your shared layouts
When you view any of these pages, it counts as 1 page view.
1. any of your control panel pages, including but not limited to: settings, messaging, friends, referrals, favorites, etc.
The following does not count as a page view:
1. Refreshing/reloading a page
2. Any page that's viewed within 3 seconds of the last page doesn't count
Got it? Just be active in Yuwie both going to other peoples sites, and in Functions of your Control panel and your page views will be really high :)

For Yuwie's 1st month - July 2007 - it was already $ 0.42 and in the video 'hologram' example it was at $0.50 ! ! !
You and your referral views (depending on how many came from which level) will be paid percentages of this!
Member counts as of today:
Total Members: 35,378
New This Month: 30,447
New Today: 2,065
This month alone there are 6x as many members as the first month!
If everyone was as active as the original 'hologram' said with every person having 1,000 page views we'd be set! We all know plenty of people have less but MANY people have way more - I have about 5,000 myself!
Yes they mentioned advertising rates change month to month - but no matter what the RSR should get higher and higher each month as MORE members join and MORE ads are flooded on to the site (especially with these new pages that pop up in between actions now!!)!!
I'd predict that the RSR for August should be AT LEAST $2 if not $2.50 !!
I can't see it being lower than $1.85 or so! Let's hope it's even higher than that!! Personally the RSR rate is what helps to determine what all our work winds up coming out to be! .25 per 1000 impressions is way better than .05 of course, based on 10 percent for you/levels 1 and level 2!
I use adsense and I know usually 1,000 impressions will also usually bring about 20 clicks which comes out to at least $1.15 or more! They have so many members and other ads mixed into the page views as well that they could afford for the RSR to even be $8-10 bringing us .80-1.00 per 1000 of our own first levels page views!!!
Let's hope for a HIGH rsr rate!!!

THAT was the most informative one I have read so far and very plainly put:o)
I am looking for ways to get referrals as I am a single mom and either work or take care of kids so my friend circle has gotten alittle low.Plus my friends are afraid of virus and inappropriate friends(sigh) I also just moved to a new state 4 months ago!
I DO have LOTS f pics tho.I have a digital for my ebay and shoot family pics constantly so I am wondering how to make a slideshow on my profile page....

You have to add me as a friend for me to use your map or make comments on your page. As for the slideshow: go to your control panel page. Click on the little camera icon on the left. Upload pics. Click on Slide Show tab at the top. Then preview. Then Add to Profile.
That should do it...stay in touch!

Also, where do the "profie" views fit into all of this? Its total is kept separate from the other views? The Profile Views is the number of times people have visited your page. If you want to maximize earnings on Yuwie, it's quite simple. Get as many referrals as you can and help them learn how to get more. Once you have a few hundred doing that for you, it becomes automatic.
Then stay as active as you can. Make lots of friends and visit them. Add to your content so others will visit you. Teach your referrals to do the same and teach their first level too.
That sounds simple, doesn't it? Does it work? I average 50,000 page views a day and I don't pay any attention where they come from, I just help everyone I can and be a friend to the rest. I have over 5,000 in my referral tree and I didn't get most of them myself, my referrals did.
