| Traffic Exchanges
This article is in my blog and I know most of you have already seen it, but I'm sure there are those who haven't, so please bear with me while I present it one more time. For those of you who have seen it, I know you're anxious to learn more about promoting in different ways but I am giving you time to try each one out first as it can be a little time consuming.
Let me very briefly explain TEs (Traffic Exchanges)
Most of them are free so it won't cost you anything.
Basically, you sign up, give them your link to the site you want to advertise (that would be your referral link to Yuwie or whatever else you want to promote). Then you look at other people's pages for 10 or 15 seconds at a time and then click for the next one. For every time you view someone else's page, or every 2 times, depending on the surf ratio, someone else will view your page. So if you surf 50 pages, your page will get shown to 25 people. Someone will click on it, sign up and you get the referral. You can surf as long as you want. It's easy and it doesn't take long. And it works. That is how I found Yuwie.
It is best to use a splashpage. I use It is not free but I use it as part of another business venture anyway, so it serves two purposes for me. If you need help with a splashpage, you can visit

**** A word of caution: Be careful not to get caught up in all the biz ops you will see while surfing. Most of them are aimed at newbies who have not been educated in internet marketing. ALOT OF HYPE!! Although there are a few goods ones, if you are looking to get started somewhere in marketing, most are worthless as far as making any real money online. And it will distract your focus from Yuwie. ;)

Also, keep in mind that the viewing time is very short, so most people are not going to take the time to read a long sales page....if you know html and have your own site (there are some good free hosts out there), make some short, quick-loading splash pages that link to your referral page, rather than using the referral/sales page itself.

I have been a member of Yuwie for 6 days and realized from day one that Yuwie has a no nonsense policy regarding advertising. Simply stated, advertising is where they make their money so they can pay us. That is perfectly understandable.
People have come and set up shop for the sole purpose of advertising their biz ops which is every marketers' dream. I'm sure most haven't taken the time to read the TOS and don't realize it is prohibited. I'm afraid they have a rude awakening coming.
I personally have taken time to be careful about what I post and not to just slap things up in a hurry for that very reason. I like it here at Yuwie and do not wish to cause any controversy.
In regards as to why I am allowed to put up my links. My purpose is to help others to find referrals so they can grow their Yuwie tree, making money for themselves, Yuwie, you, everyone else here, including myself. Yes, the links I provided are my own referral links. They are free to join. I am not making money from them. The most I will get is a few referrals.
I have spent so much time trying to help others here through messaging and setting up the club, that I haven't had much time to promote Yuwie myself. But that's ok because I am happy to do it.
I understand your frustration, Joe. I would think matters could be handled a little more delicately. I have not had any confrontations, myself, so I don't know first hand how things are handled. Just hope I won't have to.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Perhaps admin could reconsider a more diplomatic approach in dealing with TOS breakers, considering most don't even realize they're doing it.....a warning first would be appropriate, I would think.

Being persistent and continuing to do the things that bring results is the key.
Like all things when you find something that produces then you continue to use it. With the exchanges you may find some are over taxed with the same offerings and the exposure is just high enough that it takes alot of time to get the traffic you want.
Using multiple exchanges can work well if they are planned and you have a way to track results. Thats not so easy all the time.

I recommend people who wish to receive an income to start getting referrals and help them, also have an understanding of MLM. Even if your not promoting or involved in a MLM having an understanding on HOW they work will help you to build a yuwie tree.

You cannot put your profile page on a traffic exchange. That's why a splashpage is good because it takes an actual click on the link to get the traffic and not just a showing of your page. If I'm not mistaken, Yuwie only pays page views for pages viewed only by those who are already Yuwie members and are logged on to their account.

Well this is one of the best social sites I have seen in quite some time. I use the free banners and buttons to place referal adds in my stores, and yes, I have the needed security code for placing the link on my historiacal site for the Marine Corps. So now, even My fellow Marines past and preseant can join.
The only problem is, I have not heard from Okinawa as to weather the ports will allow them to get on-board with us. Hope so, dont want to have to file another port request. The military is strong, but slow in these matters.
As my stores ad campaigns run, my button or banner is run with it. So if any of you have other sites of this type, place that banner or button.
