Thank you for your prayers. I call your name daily to the Lord. Right now I am believing God for a change of heart for a 27 year old friend who parties and plays all the time with no desire to take responsibility. His name is Eugene. God can change hearts and I am trusting for a day soon when I can count this as a praise.
Thank you for your kind words. I sincerely hope you husband has a speedy and complete recovery. We are a Christian nation, but also one built upon the principles of freedom and tolerance. We are also a nation of laws with the belief that nobody is above them. We had a government accountable to the people, but that is quickly being trodden under foot. It is fine and good to pray for our leaders to do the right thing, but when we witness them doing otherwise and are finding it impossible to find redress for grievance because of corruption of the courts I begin to worry greatly for the future of our nation. My real concern is that this will come to civil war. The founding fathers foresaw this eventuality. They were wise to frame the Constitution around the bill of rights...the most important of which are the 1st and 2nd. For it is there our freedom rests...and the freedom of generations...the freedom millions have fought and died for.
Nice seeing you on line also. We are doing o.k. Our son has been visiting, just left today, getting ready to go back to the mission field in the Philippines. May God's great blessings be yours!
