FREEDOM
An ocean tossed upon the shore,
The sea delivered foam and more;
The tide flowed in and then returned,
An ebbing retreat from the churn;
The wondrous dream of ages past,
A vision seen - the die is cast;
Many felt thus, this feeling craved,
For liberty yearned - almost grave;
Inspire - press on - the goal is near,
Stand tall, be noble, show no fear!
Just men resist, and fight the cause,
Follow conscience, and moral laws;
Where tyrants live, liberty dies,
Dictators rule, draw wicked flies;
Let evil thrive, the world in schism,
Take root, grow nary loveâs prism;
Setting us back a thousand years,
Shedding blood, to allow more tears;
The dream, the fight, the striving for,
Liberty, freedom, ever more!
Upon these beaches, oh, so vast,
A dream unfolded, everlast;
The hope, the treasure ensured man,
Godâs gift, His present of this plan;
His dispensation - liberty,
The choice, the say of being free;
Ingrained in man, forever need,
Striving, libertyâs precious seed;
When tyrants try to tear this down,
We must bring our freedom âround;
Awake, awake, you blind sleeper!
Youâre in danger - going deeper!
Resist again, the tide of hell,
Take back your rights, libertyâs bell!
We fought, we died, once for freedom,
To do again, the cause - free men,
A guarantee we do not give,
Away, - so noble freedom, live!
