Wife, Mother of two grown, successful and career minded young ladies and am about to become a Grandma! In the last 5 year I have become much more active with Animal Welfare and the Spay/Neuter Programs. It's sad to say but in my area I have been left with many, many stray kittens over the years. When I couldn't find homes for them anymore I tried to put them in NO-KILL Animal Shelters only to find out that they are full during "Kitten Season", which starts in April and doesn't let up until November. With that information and brick wall I decided to do something about the Strays and the population boom in my area alone. Spay Today is a wonderful Organization and will help you get animals Spayed.Neutered. So far I have gotten 10 cats/kittens de-sexed. There are a few more, but since the organization they use is renovating their space I won't be able to get these guys neutered until after August. Can ya tell I love anumals! Oh and I forgot to mention I also have a dog that was left at our house that we kept too and had him de-sexed. I am a busy Homemaker and avid gardener! I love to sew and used to have my own business by the name of "Seams Like Camelot." When we moved to this rural area I didn't have the space and people don't seem to want to come to my place, so I never opened it up for business again. I loved it though! It was something that I could call all mine and I loved doing and making things for people. Gardening is also a hobby of mine but I can't understand where to draw the line between hobby and chore! It seems like I am out doing something in the gardens that I have every single day. I love it though. Nurturing is what I like to do and I guess you can see that from the Animal Welfare, sewing, homakeing and gardening that I do. Writing has become a passion of mine now too. I have lots to write about on here. When I first got here I was overwhelemed at what I wanted to write about, then something hit me....Just let it go and it will guide you. Eventually I will get my Awakening hub finished and published here. This is where Sprituality, Philosophy and the many religions and belief systems have had a major role in my Spiritual developement. Learning about other cultures is a real interest of mine because of this Awakening that I had and the yearning to travel and learn how other people work, live, eat and play. I know of an Engineer that lives in India and hes tells me all about his beliefs and how Shiva and Hinduism works. He has recently become a proud GrandPa too! Helping others in life is the best part of life. I know what I am here for and that is to be a teacher -not the kind in a classroom, but someone who goes through some tough things and then in the end helps those who are going through it. Doing searches for information on the interent for these things has got me the name of "Cybrarian" by my friends and family. Usually they ask me to becasue they don't come up with the right stuff or don't have the time to. I am now writing articles on another site and would love for you to join me.
